About Me
I have been actively-involved in performing, composing and teaching for many years. I teach from home in St.John’s where I live with my husband (also a performer) and my daughter.
I am now offering lessons online to help ease the current social distancing guidelines.
I have a flexible approach to teaching and am told by both children and adults that I have ‘a warm and friendly but firm approach’! My youngest pupil is 7 and my oldest 82.
I have a wide repertoire as a performer and teacher and am just as happy guiding pupils with classical playing as I am with musical theatre songs or current chart music. I also have a strong interest in improvised music. This means I can use a variety of musical resources to help pupils to learn, progress and enjoy making music.
